Fire and Ice by Robert Frost

Miscellaneous Poems to 1920.  1920.
(From Harper’s Magazine, December 1920.)

Some say in ice.

But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
