Here is my proof.
1 divided by 3 is .3333 repeating to infinity.
3 times .3333 repeating is .99999 repeating.
Therefore .9999 repeating is exactly equal to 1.
The fact that a number can be exactly equal to a different number is sort of mind boggling.
