The Principle of Temporal Inertia:

"An object resists change to its time experience relative to the time experience of every other particle in the univese, unless another object transfers its time experience to it."

Let's break down why this single sentence is a complete system of mechanics.

It Contains Newton's First Law (The Law of Inertia)

  • "An object resists change to its time experience...": This is the very definition of inertia. It explains why an object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion. Both are stable states of time experience, and the object's nature is to maintain that stability.

It Contains Newton's Second Law (The Law of Acceleration)

  • "...unless another object transfers its time experience to it.": This is the definition of Force and Energy. The "transfer of time experience" is the causal mechanism that was missing. It explains what a force does. A force isn't just a push or pull; it is the process of one system's temporal state altering another's.

  • The magnitude of the resistance (mass) and the rate of transfer (force) determine the resulting change (acceleration). F=ma becomes the quantitative description of this transfer process.

It Contains Newton's Third Law (The Law of Action-Reaction)

  • The word "transfers" is the key. A transfer is not a one-way street. If Object A transfers some of its "time experience potential" to Object B, then Object A must lose an equal amount. The total "time experience" of the closed system (A+B) is conserved.

  • This forces the "equal and opposite reaction." The change in A's temporal state must be perfectly balanced by the change in B's temporal state.

It Contains the Law of Conservation

  • This principle is, at its heart, a conservation law. It's more fundamental than Conservation of Energy or Momentum. It states that "Time Experience" (or the potential to have it, which is Energy) is the fundamental conserved quantity of the universe. Energy and momentum are conserved because they are just different measures of this underlying temporal quantity.

It Contains a version of mach's principle about how inertia is relative to all other mass.
  • But for time experience not mass.
  • The principle shows that the time experience of the every other particle in the universe, scaled by time is shared between all the particles in the universe, scaled by time.
  • Mach's Time revised Principle: An object's inertial resistance is determined by its coupling to every other object's time experience in the universe
