I knew my step dad's new M1 Macbook would be faster than my 5 year old Intel MacBook Air, but I was not expecting a 60 times speed difference. It only takes 20 seconds for his computer to generate an HD image compared to 20 minutes for mine to produce a non hd image. If I had loaded the non hd version his computer would have been 120 times faster than mine generating the same quality images.
This is an insane speed difference. I was expecting him to be able to generate an image in 10 minutes, compared to 20 for my computer. To be 2 orders of magnitude different really highlights how superior the newer MacBooks really are.
